A Doll’s House – Auditions Sun 14th Dec

No sooner does one production door close than another one opens and we’re thrilled to have Phil Portland making his directorial debut for Repertory with an updated version of Henrik Ibsen’s masterpiece “A Doll’s House” which will play late March.

Written and first performed in 1879, this ground-breaking classic play tells the story of Nora, the protagonist, and her struggle to challenge the traditional attitudes of a society which simply views her as a ‘wife and mother’.

With this recent adaptation by Samuel Adamson, written to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Southwark Playhouse, we’re looking for a cast of six adult roles (three male and three female) and two children (one male, one female). Ages for the adult roles are very flexible at this stage, but we will be looking to audition actors with playing ages ranging from late teens to late forties.
